Three top-notch websites (SOTL, DCtoBC, KnowXOne) teamed up to create their own themed mixtape, representing artists out of the DC/Maryland/Virginia. Via the email:

"There've been plenty of artists to come out of the uurrea who've seen success, but always as isolated entities as opposed to having been attached to a larger regional movement. With the recent successes of local artists and the growing sense of unification across the area, it finally seems like the DMV is getting some attention.

The goal of this mixtape is to show that the DMV deserves the respect from other cities and showcase the homegrown talent, from the signed artists to the rising local hype. Take a listen to the mixtape."
